What we access
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. When you connect an app, we get read-only access:
- Gmail: the sender, subject, date and a short preview of recent inbox messages.
- Google Calendar: today's and tomorrow's events on your main calendar.
- Google Drive: names and links of files recently shared with you (not their contents).
- Slack: messages that mention you and your recent direct messages, found through Slack search.
How we use it
Only to build your own daily brief. The items are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to sort them and write short summaries; Cloudflare does not use this data to train models. We never sell your data, show ads, or share it with anyone else.
What we store
Your account, your connection tokens (encrypted), today's brief, your to-dos, and what you marked done, snoozed or set reminders for. Briefs are rebuilt daily.
Your controls
Disconnect any app on the Connections tab; this also revokes our access with that app. Delete your account in Settings to remove everything we store about you.
Google API data
Morning Brief's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
